Mindsets

Thinking Styles that Improve Management and Leadership

Brand New

Mindsets are the set of beliefs or way of thinking that determines your work style, behavior, outlook and workplace attitude. If your mindset is negative, your attitude (and likely your behavior) is negative. Mindset is everything, and learning to shape it is a key to enhancing your workplace effectiveness. When professionals are taught a growth mindset, they are more willing to be open minded during conflict with coworkers, and more effective when giving or receiving feedback. Also, people with a growth mindset solicit both positive and negative feedback from their coworkers. They want to identify how to improve their professional skills and are not threatened by the idea of hearing negative things about their effectiveness.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll learn:

  • Respond to situations with adaptability and flexibility
  • Recognize the most dangerous leadership mindsets
  • How mindset drives behavior and behavior drives results
  • Identify how fixed and growth mindsets impact leadership styles
